Technology Support
The District continues to strive to offer its students, staff and the community it serves the best technology available to support education and enhance the learning experience.
Recently we have made many additions to our technological landscape to improve student achievement; added the Parent Portal module, upgraded all computer equipment in the computer labs at the elementary schools, with the latest technology, additional laptop mobile carts were purchased to allow for anywhere access to technology and information.
The District understands that anytime is a good time to learn, to support that end we offer our students access to our computing environment 24 hrs. a day/7 days a week.
Also, during the summer a Lego Workshop was offered to provide our students with an opportunity to explore, learn and have fun. We will use lessons learned from Lego workshop to kick-off other educational and engaging experiences for our students.
Additionally, the District understands the importance the community plays in education and we continue to look for ways to build a stronger partnership with members of our community. We continue to offer learning opportunities to community members. In the past year we have offered workshops covering the following areas; Basic Internet Usage, web page design, and an overview of business productivity tools.
